The present invention relates to a high-speed current-driven digital-to-analog converter (DAC) to which a variable resolution function is applied. According to the present invention, the current-driven DAC supports selective driving of multiple resolutions such as 8-bit, 10-bit, 12-bit with only a single core (DAC current cell) to dramatically reduce the size of a silicon die (e.g. about 1/3 for three resolutions) and accordingly, it can be effectively applied to increase the efficiency of electronic devices such as a human interface system, a portable application system, and a multi-standard communication system that are receiving the most attention recently.
