The present invention relates to a microbial agent appropriate for controlling the white stain symptom on grapes, and a method of preparing the same, wherein a strain of Bacilus spp. (MWS 28) capable of effectively controlling (suppressing) the bacteria causing the white stain symptom on grapes, A. acutatum and T. roseum, is isolated from a plant rhizosphere and named Bacilus velezensis (accession number: KACC MWS 28). According to the present invention, by using an eco-friendly microbial control agent that contains a novel Bacilus velezensis MWS28 strain, and thus is capable of effectively controlling the bacteria causing the white stain symptom on grapes, A. acutatum and T. roseum, it is possible to highly successfully control A. acutatum and T. roseum, two types of pathogenic bacteria causing the white stain symptom on grapes and thus causing a considerable damage to the farm economy when growing grapes. Further, the microbial control agent, which comprises, as an effective component, the Bacilus velezensis MWS28 strain at a density of 1x10^8 cfu/ml or more, and further comprises 0.02 parts by weight of polyoxyethylene methylpolysiloxane (PEMS) and 0.3 parts by weight of sodium alginate for increasing adhesion of antagonistic microbial cells to the surfaces of grapes, provides excellent effects comparable to those of chemical control agents.
