The present invention relates to the use of the AK102606 gene derived from rice ( Oryza sativa ) as an antioxidant, environmental stress, and crop yield regulator, and the plant transformed with the AK102606 gene of the present invention has high antioxidant capacity and excellent resistance to environmental stress. In addition, since the initial growth is excellent and the crop yield is large, the AK102606 gene may be introduced into useful crops, which may be useful for developing plants with increased antioxidant capacity, abiotic stress, and crop yield.
