FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to therapy and cardiology, and concerns treating or preventing atherothrombotic events in patients with myocardial infarction in the past history. For this purpose, a pharmaceutical composition containing 60 mg of ticagrelor is orally administered twice a day to a patient who suffered myocardial infarction 12 months ago.
