FIELD: veterinary medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science, represents a method for preventing digestive disorders in newborn calves, including giving newborn calves microencapsulated polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride starting from the second day of life twice day for 10 days, in combination with sanitation of livestock premises by constant evaporation of turpentine and simultaneous evaporation of chlorine and iodine in the process of exothermal reaction of mono-chloride iodine with aluminum in the form of wire with 15-day interval, characterized by using polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride microencapsulated in pectin, which is given in morning and evening drinking colostrum milk in dose of 2 mg per 10 kg of weight.;EFFECT: use of the declared invention is highly effective for preventing diarrheal syndrome in newborn calves.;1 cl, 4 tbl, 1 ex
