FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a water-containing suspension of particles consisting of an antioxidant enzyme of superoxide dismutase, a polycation and a polyanion by mixing buffer solutions of superoxide dismutase and a polycation selected from a group comprising protamine, polylysine and polyarginine, mixing and holding the obtained mixture, followed by adding thereto an aqueous buffer solution of a polyanion block copolymer of polyglutamic acid and polyethylene glycol or a block copolymer of polyaspartic acid and polyethylene glycol, stirring and holding the obtained mixture, adding aqueous solution of glutaric aldehyde, holding mixture, adding to mixture aqueous solution of sodium borohydride and cleaning mixture using membrane filtration system, wherein the buffer used is a buffer solution with pH 5–8, containing at least sodium hydrophosphate and sodium dihydrophosphate phosphate, glutaric aldehyde is added in an amount which provides a molar ratio with amino groups polycation of 0.3–1.5, and using a filter system with transmission limit of 90–130 kDa.;EFFECT: high total output of SOD by activity, high stability of values of activity of SOD in particles during storage thereof, high stability of particle size during storage thereof, as well as reduced irritant capacity of particle suspension when introduced into the eye.;1 cl, 4 dwg, 18 ex
