METHOD FOR PURIFICATION OF CONTAMINATED GROUND WATER USING NANOSIZED IRON OF ZERO VALENCE

FIELD: water treatment.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water treatment. Method of cleaning contaminated ground water involves adding a suspension of nanosized zero-valent iron to drilled well 1 at high pressure exceeding the pressure of the cleaned horizon. Well 1 is drilled to the middle of bed of cleaned water-bearing layer 2. Hydraulic expansion is provided by underground collector 5 to which proppant is pumped. Suspension is obtained by mixing powder of nanosized zero-valent iron with normalized water to pH 4.5–5.5. In well 1 there placed is metal casing 3 with which one pole of alternating current source is connected with frequency of 0.5–5 Hz, and second pole is connected to ground 8, which is located from well 1 at the distance equal to two or three values of well depth 1.;EFFECT: invention increases volume of water treatment and prevents removal of cleaning substances.;4 cl, 4 dwg
