FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of experimental research and enables to determine coefficient of oil displacement by gas on core and conditions of heavy oil to gas mixing. Method of determining minimum blending pressure (MBP) of heavy oil with carbon dioxide determines simultaneously MBP and oil displacement coefficient by successive actions: pumping of CO2 under certain pressure into samples saturated with oil, holding for 6 hours, reducing pressure to atmospheric pressure and releasing oil for 6 hours, determining oil displacement coefficient by weighing samples, conducting at least 5–6 such cycles, repetition of this procedure at different pressures till change of final displacement factors corresponding to each pressure is not more than by 1–2 %, determination of MBP according to graph of change of displacement coefficient from pressure.;EFFECT: technical result is possibility of determining minimum fluid pressure in a wide range of temperature and pressure.;1 cl, 9 dwg, 9 tbl
