METHOD FOR PLASTY OF INTRA-TEMPORAL LESIONS OF FACIAL NERVE WITH AUTOGRAFT N_ SURALIS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in rehabilitation of patients with intratemporal affection of facial nerve. Complete removal of unchanged facial nerve from the fallopian canal is performed. Pathologically changed tissues are removed. Distal end of the facial nerve is sutured end-to-end with an autograft in the infra-foraminal region. Further, the autograft is delivered through a styloid-like opening into the middle ear and the distal end is sutured together with the proximal end of the facial nerve. Recovered nerve is then covered with autofascia throughout the middle ear.;EFFECT: method allows performing facial nerve plasty with defects more than 12 mm due to complete extraction of unchanged facial nerve trunk from its canal, technique of facial nerve and autograft joining and use of autofascia.;1 cl, 6 dwg, 2 ex
