Shown is a method of partially or completely coating corrosion-affected or worn metal parts (10) of vehicle brakes, wherein the coating (11) is done by the PVD method. The main field of application of the invention is the brake discs (10) as parts of the motor vehicle brake with a focus on the braking surfaces (20, 21) of the brake discs.
