Device (1) and method for clock generation for PCMA signal components of a PCMA signal with a sampling device (2) which samples the received PCMA signal to generate IQ samples of the PCMA signal; a mixing device (3) which multiplies the generated IQ samples in complex conjugate fashion with oscillations whose frequencies correspond to the frequency deviations of the PCMA signal components from a PCMA center frequency in order to produce mixed PCMA signal components; and with a calculation device (4), which potentiates the mixed PCMA signal components and adds them up in each case in accumulators, wherein for the values added up in the accumulators, amount squares are calculated, which are evaluated to estimate the clock rates of the PCMA signal components.
