A carrier tape, a masking tape or a static shielding bag for transporting electronic components is made from polymers and carbon nanotubes that are between 0.01% by weight and 3% by weight. The carbon nanotubes can have any number of walls and any desired size of diameter dimension that is less than about 100 nm. The carrier tape, masking tape, or pouches that comprise the carbon nanotubes have a static dissipative area measured between 1 × 10 and 1 × 10Ohm / sq, and a light transmission value between 60% and 90%. The carrier tape, masking tape, or pouches that comprise the carbon nanotubes reduce surface defects, high density entanglements, and agglomerations. The static shielding bags that comprise the carbon nanotubes can be formed as foils that are produced in a desired bag size.
