This disclosure provides self-driving mobile robots that use human-robot interactions. Systems, methods and computer readable media for improved human-robot interactions are disclosed. A device, such as a robot, can send one or more pulses. The device can identify one or more reflections associated with the one or more pulses. The device may determine a cluster based at least in part on the one or more reflections. The device can assign the cluster to an object identified in an image. The device can determine a gesture associated with the object based at least in part on an image analysis of the image. The device can determine a command associated with an action based at least in part on the gesture. The device can perform the action.
