In addition, the correction device (2) has a manipulator (18) for moving the visor (10) into the field of view (16) and for tracking the visor (10) with respect to a direction of view of the vehicle occupant (8), and a controller (22 ), which is set up to set the refractive properties of the visor (10) depending on the visual impairment of the vehicle occupant (8) and to control the manipulator (18) for tracking the visor (10) depending on the viewing direction of the vehicle occupant (8) . The controller (22) is linked to at least one interior camera (24) to detect the viewing direction. The manipulator (18) is set up to track the visor (10) at least when the vehicle occupant (8) turns his head about a first axis of rotation (z) coinciding with the vertical direction of the vehicle occupant (8).
