A snow making device (10) includes a snow collecting area (14) which has a snow making function for forming snow and a snow collecting function for collecting the formed snow while the formed snow is kept in an unconsolidated state, and a snow making area (20) for snow falls introduced from the snow collecting area (14). The snow collecting area (14) includes a tank (22) having a snow making function and a blower (28) which causes air to flow accompanied by snow in the tank (22). By operation of the blower (28), air accompanied with snow flows into the tank (22) to circulate along an inner surface of the tank (22).
