Dissemination-resistant pharmaceutical glass packaging, comprising:a glass body formed from a type 1 glass composition in accordance with ASTM standard E438-92(2011), the glass body having a wall section with an inner surface and an outer surface, the glass body forming the inner surface of the pharmaceutical glass packaging, where the pharmaceutical glass packaging does not contain a boron-rich layer on the inner surface of the glass body and the glass body is formed from a glass tube;where the glass body has at least a basic strength of class A2 or better of ISO 695, at least a hydrolytic resistance of type HGB2 or better of ISO 719 and a chemical resistance of type 1 of USP 660 an internal area of about 10 nm below the inner surface and having a consistent layer homogeneity, so that an extreme in a layer concentration of each component of the glass composition in the inner area is greater than or equal to 80% and less than or equal to 120% of a concentration the same component in the glass composition is in the centre of the thickness of the glass body, if the glass body is in a state as formed; anda surface area extending over the interior and having a permanent surface homogeneity so that the glass body is resistant to lamination, so that for a discrete point on the inner surface of the glass body an extreme of a surface concentration of each component of the glass composition in the surface area at the discrete point at the discrete point greater than or equal to 70% and less than or equal to 130% of the same component in the Surface area at any second discrete point on the inner surface of the glass body is when the glass body is in a state as formed.
