The virtual assistant (20) comprises: - an acousto-electric transducer (21) for receiving voice commands and transmitting a signal representative of the channel of a user, - a voice recognition means (22) for identifying and transmitting a request by processing the signal from the acoustoelectric transducer, - a memory (23) of scenarios made up of actions to be carried out when a request is identified, - means (24) for triggering the unfolding of a scenario upon receipt of '' a request, - an emulator (25) of infrared remote control to control an action of an external device (26), action of a scenario corresponding to a request, - a voice generator (27) to generate a signal representative of a message from a scenario corresponding to a request and - an electro-acoustic transducer (28) for transmitting the message generated by the voice generator.
