The invention relates to a chromium catalyst corresponding to formula (I): in which: a) the groups R1, R2 and R3 represent, independently of each other, a hydrocarbon radical comprising from 1 to 36 carbon atoms and optionally a or more heteroatoms; b) the groups R4, R5 and R6 represent, independently of each other, a halogen atom or a hydrocarbon radical comprising from 1 to 36 carbon atoms and optionally one or more heteroatoms, it being understood that at least one of the groups R4, R5 or R6 represents a hydrocarbon radical comprising from 1 to 36 carbon atoms.
