Rectangular parallelepipedic building block (10) of concrete or cement material having two parallel longitudinal walls (12, 14) and two parallel transverse walls (16, 18) so as to form two opposite rectangular faces (10B, 10D ) and two opposite square faces (10E, 10F) of the building block, the two remaining opposite rectangular faces (10A, 10C) being formed only by the thicknesses of the longitudinal and transverse walls and thus defining an empty frame, and at least one wall transverse intermediate (20) mounted between these two parallel transverse walls, so as to define with the four walls which surround it at least two independent vertical chimneys (22, 24) opening on the two rectangular faces opposite to empty frame, the transverse walls each comprising an arch-shaped opening (16A, 18A, 20A) opening onto the same rectangular face with empty frame (10A) of the block d e construction and which allows the two chimneys to communicate with each other and with chimneys of the immediately adjacent lateral building blocks and the longitudinal walls each have at least two openings (12A, 12B; 14A, 14B) in the form of an arch pierced on either side of a junction with this intermediate transverse wall, opening onto the same rectangular face with empty frame (10A) and which allows the two chimneys to communicate with chimneys of the immediately adjacent longitudinal building blocks.
