The invention relates to a light module (2) of a projector composed of a metal base (20) and of a cover (6) for closing said base, in which the base has an internal volume where are housed at the minus a printed circuit board and a light source, as well as an optical element for processing the rays emitted by the light source and a unit for controlling the operation of said light source. The base (20) has a front opening and a side opening. The front opening is configured to be covered with a closure element (32) fixed by means sealing the junction between closure element and base. The cover (6) is configured to overlap the lateral opening so that the interface which it forms with the base (20) is sealed.
