The present invention relates to a laminate (1) of photovoltaic cells (3) having two lateral ends (5a) and two longitudinal ends, said laminate (1) comprising: - at least one layer of photovoltaic cells (3) connected together , - a layer of glass fibers, and - a front layer (13) and a rear layer (15) of encapsulation sandwiching the assembly composed of the layer of photovoltaic cells (3) and the layer of fiber glass, the front (13) and rear (15) encapsulation layers have a length and a width greater than the length and width of the glass fiber layer, and the front (13) and rear (15) encapsulation layers are directly in contact with each other at the lateral (5a) and longitudinal ends of the laminate (1).
