Method of manufacturing an armor wire of a flexible fluid transport line and armor wire and flexible line resulting from such a process The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an armor wire a metallic layer for mechanical reinforcement of a flexible fluid transport line intended to be immersed in a body of water. The method comprises the following steps: - supplying a metal wire comprising at least a first section (32) and a second section (34), the first section (32) and the second section (34) being interconnected at their ends by a weld (40), - thermal annealing of the weld (40). The method includes, prior to thermal annealing, a heat pre-treatment step of at least part of the weld (40), the heat pre-treatment step being a reflow step or an austenitization step.
