ATTACHING AN INTERIOR TRIM PANEL TO A MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR Interior trim panel (19) for a door (3) of a motor vehicle (1), comprising: a wall (21) intended to cover an interior lining (17) of the door (3); a generally rectilinear upper edge (23) formed on the wall (21), and intended to extend along a window (9) of the door (3); the upper edge (23) comprising a front end portion (25) forming a notch adapted to conform to a window frame gusset (11) of the door (3), and a portion adjacent to said front end portion ( 25) and adapted to be inserted between a fixing portion of a window wiper seal and the pane (9) so as to ensure retention of the end portion (25) against the gusset.
