A sealed pack (110) has a tray (130) and a lid (20). The container is provided with an internal tamper-evident seal. The lid is provided with an external tamper-evident seal (60). The internal seal is arranged between the container and the lid. The lid is formed from a resilient material to protect the container. The pack includes a sterilised surgical instrument in the tray. A support may protect the container. The lid, container and/or the internal tamper- evident seal may be transparent. The lid may have a clip (24) to secure the lid to the container. The external tamper-evident seal may comprise a film seal. The tray may have one or more compartments for receiving the instruments, which may be in the form of grooves or slots. The compartments may be colour coded and the tray may be disposable, resilient and sterilisable. The pack may contain a checklist which lists the names of the surgical instrument in the pack.
