An apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical and hollow main body 940 having an open end and a closed end and a bayonet component 942 extending therein. The bayonet component 942 has a shaft at least partially enclosed within the main body 940 and a pair of opposing protrusions 944,946 extending radially outside of the main body 940 proximate to a first end of the shaft. The apparatus further includes a lever 950 rotatably coupled to the main body 940 proximate to the open end thereof, and the lever 950 includes a locking recess 958 selectively aligned with the open end of the main body 940. The apparatus also includes a resilient member 948 enclosed within the main body 940 between the closed end thereof and the first end of the shaft of the bayonet component 942, and the resilient member or spring 948 biases the bayonet 942 component toward the lever 950. The bayonet component 942 engages the locking recess 958 to inhibit rotation of the lever relative to the main body. In use the apparatus engages a coupling 920 having helical slots (922, 924, figure 25) in which the opposing protrusions 944, 946 engage. Rotation of the apparatus urges the protrusions 922,946 axially against the force of spring 948 and draws the bayonet member 942 out of engagement with the recess 958. The lever 950may then be rotated. Thus the lever 950 may only be rotated when the apparatus is fully engaged with the coupling 920.
