The invention relates to a remote hearing test system (1) comprising: a control device (3) for controlling a hearing aid (2) comprising a communication interface arranged to allow two-way communication and software for executing predefined sequences of sounds saved in a memory module of the device in response to an instruction from a control station (4) equipped with remote control software; at least one hearing aid (2) comprising a communication interface arranged to allow two-way communication with the control device (3), said device (3) comprising a software layer for communication with the hearing aid (2) and being arranged to provide a gateway between the control station (4) and the hearing aid (2); and means (5) for the sound insulation of the hearing aid (2).
