The present invention provides a drive power supply of a ballast LED lamp with a variable power energy saving function. The technical solution of connecting a series circuit composed of a capacitor C1a, a capacitor C11 and a switch K11 and a series circuit composed of a capacitor C1b and a switch Ka to G and N ends of a bridge rectifier circuit is adopted. The solution enables a drive power supply of an LC ballast LED lamp to meet the requirements in terms in GB 17743 without increasing an EMC circuit, the circuit is simple, and the production cost can be saved. In a drive circuit of an inductive ballast LED lamp in which the impedance range of an inductive ballast Lz ranges from greater than 52 ohms to less than 360 ohms, the technical solution of connecting a series circuit composed of a capacitor C, a capacitor C1 and a switch K1 to D and N ends of the bridge rectifier circuit is adopted. The solution can improve the efficiency of production and assembly, reduce the production cost and further improve the efficiency of an inductive ballast drive power supply.
