PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wing box having a plurality of stringer-reinforced first and second panels made of a composite material and a plurality of ribs in one curing step. Prior to the curing process, an auxiliary tool 24 is used to ensure the correct relative position of the elements. The auxiliary tool comprises a central part 24a, a bottom part 24b, and a top part 24c, which are constrained by the constraining elements 32 before the wing box components (12a, 12b, etc.) are arranged.
