A system and method for player-compensated motion compensation by iterative motion vector caching. A computer-implemented motion estimation method including steps of transmitting a look-up table composed of one or more user inputs and one or more associated motion vectors, and receiving a player input. And sending an instruction to query the lookup table to the matched motion vector, sending an instruction to associate a unique tag with the matched motion vector from the lookup table. And adding a tagged motion vector to the queue, sending a frame containing the motion vector with a unique identifier tag, and adding the motion vector from the queue with the tag associated with the tagged frame received from the server.
