A mould for a container (1), that comprises: - A mould base (19) having: o a peripheral face (21), o a central dome (23), and o a central well (24) formed in the dome (23) and extending along a frustoconical sidewall (25) from a top edge (26) of the dome (23) having a top diameter, to a bottom (27) having a bottom diameter smaller than the top diameter; - A stretching rod (29) that ends with a hemispherical distal end (31) having a radius (R), the value of which is between that of the bottom radius and that of the top radius of the central well (24) and which, when the rod (31) is in the bottom position, is separated from the sidewall (25) of the central well (24) by a distance (E1) smaller than the distance (E2) that separates it from the bottom (27) of the well.
