摘要

The city of Copenhagen is faced with a new awareness of the challenge of handling the increased amount of rainwater in the city, because of the heavy rainfalls that caused a flooding of the sewage system on the 2nd of July 2011. Due to the changes in the global climate, similar episodes will become more and more likely in the future. This report deals with the development of sustainable technologies that can handle these extreme rainfalls in a specific area of Copenhagen, Skt. Kjelds Kvarteret. By applying the theory of Frank W. Geels and Bruno Latour, it is argued that the 2th of July created a window of opportunity that allows for new technologies that can help the transformation of the sewage system, to emerge. The new technologies are negotiated in dynamic actant – networks where both subjects and objects play an important part. Please contact the authors for further information.
