Energy Estimates Relating Different Linear Elastic Models of a Cylindrical Shell.(III) The Soft Membrane Case

In the final part of the paper the authors consider a 'soft' membrane-dominateddeformation state of a cylindrical shell with no kinematical constraints. The soft membrane state can arise from a special load type that is not able to excite inextensional deformations. The authors derive again energy estimates relating the 3D elastic model with classical shell models as well as with the asymptotic theory.
