The hazards of hydrogen fluoride (HF) have long been recognized. Standardoperating practices have been aimed at on minimizing the possibility of a release and mitigating the effects if a release should occur. These practices are continually monitored and improved to maximize safety protection based on the available technical data. The recent program targeted further improvements based on new technical data. The volume contains measurements of particle size distribution, velocity, flux density and air entrainment for water monitors.
