Studio HBSC-Italia (Health Behaviour in School-aged Children): rapporto sui dati 2010. (Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) study in Italy: report 2010).

摘要

During the year 2010 a survey has been conducted throughout all Italian Regions on 11, 13 and 15 year-old attending public schools, in the framework of the international HBSC (Health Behaviour in School-aged Children) study, sponsored by the World Health Organization. Target classes have been 1st and 3rd grade of junior high school and 2nd grade of high school. To all subjects attending the sampled classes an anonymous questionnaire has been administered, to collect information on their health behaviour, their relationship with the school, parents and peers, and general information concerning their cultural and social background. Amongst the most relevant results emerging from the around 75000 questionnaires administered it can be pointed out the high percentage of overweight children found in some Southern Italian regions, a more frequent feeling of dissatisfaction with school in older students and a strong gender gap, in disfavour of girls, in perceived well-being and symptoms declared.
