摘要

A numerical method for the solution of the Euler equations of gas dynamics usinganisotropic grid refinement of an unstructured, hexahedron type grid is presented. The discontinuous Galerkin Finite element method is used to solve the Euler equations in three dimensions. Special attention is paid to the data structure and searching algorithms necessary for efficient calculation highly irregular grids obtained with local grid refinement. The method is demonstrated with calculations of transonic flow on the ONERA M6 wing.
