Framework for Knowledge-Based Map Interpretation

摘要

In the industrialized world, there is an urgent need for solutions to drawingconversion. Drawing conversion is the process of converting paper maps and drawings into a digital format which captures all relevant information. The goal of the research described in this thesis is the design and development of techniques which are capable of automatic drawing interpretation. The purpose of the study is the development of a flexible and generally applicable framework for knowledge-based map interpretation.
