A thorough review of the existing impact test data and analysis methods was211u001econducted and the results were used to identify a reliability prediction 211u001emethodology for further development. The integrated residual strength/reliability 211u001emethod developed by Northrop Grumman under a Navy/Federal Aviation Administration 211u001esponsored program was selected and modified. The modification was primarily in 211u001ereducing the number of empirical for the strength prediction. A structural damage 211u001etolerance evaluation was conducted using the modified model and the results 211u001ecompared to those obtained from the existing model.
