Salmonid Use of the Bioengineered Revetment at the Maplewood Golf Course on the Cedar River, Washington

This study was conducted to determine what influence modifying a riprap revetment in the Cedar River had on seasonal fish densities and habitat complexity. The riprap revetment was modified to a revetment consisting of rock deflectors and large woody debris (LWD). We compared bi-weekly fish densities at the new revetment to a control area just upstream. The control area was a natural bank and was considered representative of other un-reveted banks in the Cedar River.
