Miscellaneous Theoretical Results on Homogenisation.

摘要

This report discusses three phenomena connected to dielectric mixtures that contain lossy components and which have peculiar characteristics. (1) special character of Hashin-Shtrikman bounds for certain mixtures, (2) mixture displaying the 'maximum effect' and characteristic parameters connected to it for various mixing principles, and (3) enhanced chirality in mixtures with dielectric and magnetic losses.
