Finging of No Significant Impact Siting of a National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida

On November 11, 2003, The President signed the National Cemetery Expansion Act which requires the VA to establish six national cemeteries in specific areas of the United States by 2007. Sarasota, Florida was designated as one of the six areas to receive a national cemetery. The Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) summarizes the results of the evaluation of the Proposed Action and alternatives.
