The Office of Inspector General audits and evaluates the Farm Credit Administration's (FCA) programs and operations to promote economy, efficiency and effectiveness. It investigates observed, alleged or suspected wrongdoing to prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement in FCA programs and operations. It reviews and makes recommendations regarding existing and proposed legislation and regulations relating to FCA programs and operations and the Inspectors General community. It works with the Chairman and FCA management to improve program management within the Agency and in our own office; and works with the Inspectors General community and other related organizations to address government-wide issues.
