Snapshot of Executive Development in the Federal Government. Thought Leadership Forum, Washington, DC., April 10, 2007

Federal agencies are required by law (Title 5, U.S. Code, Section 3396) to establish programs for the continuing development of senior executives. To provide background information on this subject for the Thought Leader Forum, OPM staff interviewed SES contacts at 12 Federal agencies, varying from small to large, to respond to a series of standardized questions about continuing Executive Development at their agency. A summary of their responses is contained in this report.
