COMPARATIVE ERYTHROPOIETIC INCORPORATION OF FERRIC AND FERROUS PREPARATIONS OF IRON-59 BY THE MACACA MULATTA MONKEY

摘要

Twenty male Macaca mulatta monkeys were divided into two equal groups. One group of 10 animals received 5 μc.Feerous-59 citrate per animal. The other 10 animals were subdivided into two groups of 5 animals each. Each animal received 5μc.ferric-59 chloride, but injections in the two subgroups were separated by a temporal lapse of one month.
