REVISIONS AND CORRECTIONS TO NDRC FORMAL REPORT NO. A-255

In the interval since NDRC formal report no. A-225, Effect of Pressure and Temnerature on the Rate of Burning of Double-base Powders of Different Compositions, was issued, a number of typographical and computational errors in the report have been brought to our attention. Several people have also requested that the burning rate constants be computed by the method of least squares. This method was not used in the original calculations principally because personnel were not available to carry out the compu¬tations;it was also realized that the method might lead to erroneous results because the data for all the powders. do not cover exactly the same pressure range.
