Photogrammetric Quality of Television Pictures

摘要

The primary objectives of this theoretical study were: (1) to analyze the factors that limit the resolution, photometric fidelity and geometric fidelity of television pictures; (2) to study the patterns of geometric distortions and to devise methods for the precise calibration of these patterns; and (3) to evaluate the capability and potentiality of television systems as a recording device for photogrammetric applications.
