Planned Variations Study. Volume III: Design and Analysis Considerations for a Longitudinal Field Experiment

The genesis for the Planned Variations Study resulted from earlier evaluations of two programs operated by the Bureau of Higher and Continuing Education, the Upward Bound Program for secondary students, and the Special Service Program for postsecondary students. The five volumes in this series document the results of the planning efforts. In Volume III the design of a longitudinal study to evaluate the effects of models growing out of the two interventions strategies is presented.
