The Longitudinal Socioeconomic Monitoring Study has been conducted to compare actual socioeconomic changes which accompany the construction of coal-fired electric generating plants with those proposed in impact statements. Vol. IV describes the Socio-economic changes in Wheatland County (Montana) which have accompanied construction of the Laramie River Station. Significant in this volume are the descriptions of preconstruction preparations, changes in housing and employment in the year preceding construction, and mitigation arrangements for estimated impacts.
