Regional Analysis of Residential/Commercial Gas Demand

The market for the following systems for space conditioning is analyzed: Deluxe gas furnace/central air-conditioner; Oil furnace/central air-conditioner; Electric furnace/central air-conditioner; Gas pulse-combination furnace/central air-conditioner; Gas absorption heat pump; Gas mechanical heat pump; Advanced electric heat pump. The methodology used in this study consists of (1) forecasting regional characteristics affecting regional gas demand, (2) forecasting regional gas demand utilizing the TERA model of the American Gas Association, and (3) analyzing the economics of and developing market shares for each of the above systems regionally.
