This volume contains the proceedings of a workshop held in Denver, Colorado, on April 26-28, 1982, by the Committee on Mineral Resource Evaluation (COMRE). The committee was formed in response to a request from the Bureau of Land Management that the NRC undertake an overview of the state-of-the-art of mineral and energy resource potential assessment. The COMRE workshop, which examined data requirements, data sources, and assessment methodologies for evaluating undiscovered resource potential, represents the major activity of this project toward fulfilling the BLM request.
