In-Depth Survey Report of St. Joe Minerals Corporation, Viburnbum, Missouri

Health hazard controls used in lead (7439921) ore beneficiation operations were surveyed at Saint Joe Minerals Brushy Creek mill (SIC-1031), Viburnbum, Missouri in February, 1982. The company used a lead flotation process and employed 20 workers in the mill. On average, 5000 tons of ore containing 4 to 5 percent lead were processed daily. Work processes and control technologies were evaluated, and personal and area air samples were collected for lead, carbon-disulfide, and cyanide.
